Does any member have such an implement that he or she is willing to part with for a suitable consideration? I have had a disagreement with my starter motor and very much want to be mobile again. Aprilia starting handle needed Post by: Mikenoangelo on 10 November, 2020, 08:55:04 PM I had one made for the Augusta which is literally a simple crank which just needs two bends in a length of steel bar with a cross pin to engage the crankshaft dog. The bends are tight right angles so heat is needed - in normal times any metalworking shop would knock one up in no time if you can work out the dimensions or borrow one to copy. I didn't bother with a sleeve on the handle end, reckoning that I shall probably only use it when timing the engine and not need to worry about friction on my fingers.
