The first example represented the frustration and free thinking that must exist behind the scenes and the car was probably created in an atmosphere not far from that found in the earlier days of Lancia, ie a small group getting together out of hours and working for the love of it without much funding. Rumour of a new Fulvia set the motoring press across Europe on fire with speculation four years ago but sadly things didnt work out. Even so, here is an oppotunity for Lancia to finally stamp their individuality within the Fiat group by homing in on a desirable product. It doesnt have to be a small sports car, it seems the £100,000 market is alive and well so how about pitching it against the aging Bentley as a luxury version of the Alfa.
