Title: Appia block/ engine Post by: a1city on 03 April, 2020, 02:25:07 PM Does anyone have a sound appia s1 block ( ideally capable of being bored to 68.8) or possibly a good engine for use in my s1 berlina .any help would be really appreciated.

Title: Re: Appia block/ engine Post by: lancianut666 on 03 April, 2020, 06:51:19 PM Just sold the only S1 block we had...Thought about converting to a S2/3 engine and transmission? easily done you just replace them as all the mountings line up and the throttle and gearbox linkages are the same. Problem is the S1 gearbox will not fit a S2/3 engine so you need a S2/3 gearbox as well. Another solution would be to have the block sleeve-lined see this link below
