Title: Fulvia 1973 S2 1.3S Restoration - Help and advise required by new novice member Post by: Fulvia_royle on 04 March, 2020, 10:55:47 AM Hi
I've recently joined the club to get some help and advice with the restoration of a 1973 Fulvia S2 1.3S This purchase has not gone down well it home, but I'm now turned 50 and suffering from a midlife crisis and a desire to return to my youth so I started a new project. I have no great mechanical knowledge, so this was possibly a stupid thing to do. Why a Fulvia? Mum and Dad had an S1 when I was growing up (WMA 2E - I can still remember the registration number) and my older brother had a series 3 in the early 1980's. My first objective is to get it running. So I have a couple of quick questions - if anyone can help. 1. Can you recommend any good suppliers for spares 2. What is the correct battery and where can I get one. 3. Is the car positive or negative earth? Thanks Andrew Title: Re: Fulvia 1973 S2 1.3S Restoration - Help and advise required by new novice member Post by: Chris Hopkins on 04 March, 2020, 11:14:29 AM In short, the quickest supplier would be Omicron, see VL for details, they are extremely helpful folk and have a good stock but are slightly more expensive than buying directly from Italian suppliers.
Negative earth battery from any motor factors or Halfords. Title: Re: Fulvia 1973 S2 1.3S Restoration - Help and advise required by new novice member Post by: Fulvia_royle on 04 March, 2020, 04:08:02 PM Thanks Chris
