Title: When is an aprilia not an aprilia
Post by: Scarpia on 15 March, 2008, 09:47:15 AM
Relieved to see John Millhams letter in March VL confirming that the january edition had an Aprilia on the cover.

I kept looking at it and wondering why anybody might conclude it was an Ardea (as suggested).I was actually starting to feel quite inadequate that I couldn't see the difference....I assumed it had something to do with a difference in the under vehicle profile of rear suspension which is just (poorly) visible.
One would think it was an Aprilia in normal circumstances so are we missing something?.Did the early ardeas have the same boot? later ones just had a spare wheel cover and no boot at all I think.
Can the originator of the doubt please own up and explain the reasoning....
