Has anyone bought a fuel tank from these people in Holland. They are made in aluminium and claim to fit all 815 and 819 cars, albeit at a price of Euro 1285 plus postage. I had one made for my Flavia coupe by a company that did a lot of rally preparation work might be worth going that route.

I had problems with a an aluminium fuel tank in my race car Aurelia B20 which kept splitting seams, presumably due to flexing. Just a small hole to deal with and the the top rewelded. As a precaution I used the slosh to ensure the the reweld was internally sealed. Blasting was by Maldon Shot blast and the welder was a aircraft certified welder in Ardleigh near me.
