Title: Fan Belt - Gates alternative? Post by: Angle Grinder on 12 July, 2019, 08:56:17 PM Just back from a warm summer night drive in the Flavia. All going well when suddenly I get a squealing like a banshee from the engine bay.
I have previously replaced the fan belt but had difficulty with the range at my motor factor as one option was too small and the other was right at the end of tensioning range of my alternator bracket. Does anyone on here know by any chance which Part Number of Gates (or another make for that matter) will serve best as a replacement for a Flavia 1.8 fan belt? I know, you'll say take it off and go to Motor Factors, but that didn't work too well last time. Title: Re: Fan Belt - Gates alternative?
