Title: Rust proofing
Post by: bobhenry999 on 12 February, 2019, 10:31:16 PM
Hello all,

I would like to get my 815 Coupe rustproofed underneath. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations ?

This company seem to be very thorough and competent going by their website.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,
Send Vince D Angelo a pm, I know he looked into a number of companies to do his Fulvia Gt Berlina he brought back from Sicily, and I think he might have used them, but I do know if he didn't, he had spoken to them.
Look him up in forum members

I think David Honeybun of European Classic Cars provides a rust proofing service too. Not sure if it's only for cars you buy from him but worth a try. He knows his Lancia's so will know the areas that need treatment. I had my Fulvia done as soon as it was in the UK 25 years ago and it really paid off. I had all the box sections done too.  Totally forgotten who done it except it was a one man outfit who had formulated his own mix. Just thought - there's someone else, can't remember his name at this moment but hopefully someone will chip in. Used to post a lot here, runs a restoration and tyre business and works on the older Lancia's. I remember him writing  about how to rustproof properly.

That sounds like James Parry at Minera Tyres http://www.mineratyres.com/page1.html
