Title: Aurelia hub cap script Post by: chriswgawne on 15 October, 2018, 07:14:15 AM I feel I should know the answer to this but on both aluminium (early cars) and chrome plated (later cars) Aurelia hubcaps, the script which stands proud in the centre of the hubcap is often painted in the 'lower' areas if you understand me..
What colour was used back in the day? Was it body colour or Lancia blue or unpainted? I have seen all variants on restored cars but what was originally offered by the factory? So I assume that the hub caps were as original as the rest of the car. The script on the hub caps was black.
