Title: Spares Needed For 1965 Flavia Coupe Pininfarina 1800 Restoration
Post by: CoupeDeGras on 13 September, 2018, 07:07:50 PM
Hello

I've just bought my first Lancia; a 1965 Flavia Coupe Pininfarina 1800!

And although she's rather lovely, she does need a few spares/parts and I was wondering whether anyone had any of the following for sale (or knew where I could lay my hands on them).

 - 1 x "Lancia" Dashboard Logo (rectangular chrome/metal)
 - 1 x Offside Rear Plastic Brake/Indicate Lens (I have the chrome body, so just need the plastic lens)
 - 1 x Driverside Wing Mirror
 - 1 x Set of Chrome "Lancia Flavia" Boot Logos/script
 - 1 x Nearside Wing side-indicator lens

I've contacted Omicron and Classic Lancia and the prices are pretty frightening, and I've also been scouring various European auction and sales sites as well, but to no avail...

Kindest regards,

Jon

The rear  lenses are interchangeable from one side to the other. I have one in a box that has a slight bit of damage, but is otherwise pretty sound.

I'm open to sensible offers...

Wing mirrors on these cars are nearly always aftermarket items.

Have a looka t what these guys offer and you should find something that matches: http://www.texautomotive.com/classic_exterior_mirrors.html (http://www.texautomotive.com/classic_exterior_mirrors.html)

Thanks so much for responding, about 30 minutes before you would have posted I bought a lens from a Jensen restoration garage as apparently they are the same as used on the MK1 Interceptor. The guy assures me it's the same, but I'll see when it urns up. If not, I'll be straight back in touch to see if you've still got yours, thanks!

And thanks also for the steer on the wing mirror. I've been looking at loads of Coupe PF photos to see if anything was stock or standard and it doesn't really seem to be, so your advice totally bears out. Mine is currently black, but I think it looks out of place against all the other trim on the car.

Cheers, really appreciate the response!
