Does anyone have any details on a Lancia bus with a triple passenger deck design?

I only have pictures, annotated 1927 to 1936 Omicron. I have a feeling they were used for long distance routes in north Africa but can't confirm it.

Here's a bit more courtesy of Google.

The first real triple-decker bus went into service in 1932, shuttling up to 88 passengers at a time between Rome and Tivoli. But as the picture of it below shows (from Popular Mechanics, 1932), the third level was only a small section at the rear of the bus.

Fabulous. Like a better version of the double decker regional trains in use in Italy today. I am sure I read somewhere that the UK could have double decker trains to relieve congestion but there are only  < 20 bridges needing modification which would be a nightmare from the planning and disruption point of view. So it won't go ahead.
