Maybe its the wheels that made me think "late". The red one has the early type steering wheel and bonnet trim, but being photographed from so low the bonnet trim gets lost. I always think they shouldn't be further forward than the centre line of the wheels. Dash script is odd. I'm sure mine is three dimensional. That one looks laser cut. Must admit that black rear panel looks quite smart to me. I don't think it was standard on any series was it?

Hello Stan,Dash script is probably laser cut, Fays rear panel script had corroded away and friend with the same problem on his 2c got two laser cut scripts from Turin, probably stainless steel and a lot more durable than the original. Back in 2004 they were also available from the shop in the Biscaretti Museum. I agree on where to position the mirror, I made the mistake of putting mine a little closer to the windscreen, and with the type of mirrors fitted the nearside one is barely usuable I do wish these companies hen they translate into English would get an English person to check the work, there's some awful translation in the blurb. When I was out the other day I looked at it and mine is flat as well. In my head I must have been getting mixed up with the old classic style like Zodiac and Consul badges. (Probably turns out they're flat as well).
