Title: Beta Coupe 2000 auto
Post by: frankxhv773t on 10 April, 2018, 06:32:13 PM
Newly listed on e-bay. Genuine bard find condition but a much better looking prospect that other barn finds listed recently. It's a bit of a shame it's an automatic but maybe some of the Betaboyz are getting to that stage I life?

Looks like it's gone already Frank (unless it was taken down as a fake ad?).

Can't really explain, but I have always fancied an auto box Coupe. I test drove one a couple of times in the early 90s at a dealer in Bradford and it went really well. I was wary of the shiny paint, and proved right a couple of months later when it was still there but sporting several rust bubbles.

The back street dealer had an incredibly well spoken 'salesman', who accompanied me on the test drives and wouldn't have been out of place at a Bentley main dealer.

The listing looked OK but who knows. It might reappear with a dealer and an extra nought on the price.

Hi

Back with account issue mentioned as reason for closure and re-listing. It did not look like the other times when fraud listings are taken down, so suspect it is genuine.

If it was a runner I'd stick in a bid, but as I would want it as an auto, I'd need to know that the box was working......
