Title: What do you mean you want €50 upfront before you'll give me a quote? Post by: Parisien on 22 February, 2016, 01:41:42 PM Indeed.
Now things are moving both body and engine wise, I'd thought about ordering the parts required for brakes, suspension and transmission. So over the last fortnight I'd dually contacted 4 suppliers in Italy. One emailed me back to say they were off to the Fair in Turin so please contact us a week later. This I did, but still no response, so waited a full week then emailed them again yesterday to get a reply with the above in it this morning. Is this a new ploy? Needless to say I've more or less agreed to buy from Cavalitto. P Title: Re: What do you mean you want €50 upfront before you'll give me a quote? I don't even bother to check his prices as the quality of what he sells is so good. Funnily enough I ordered some Aurelia and Fulvia parts from Enrico last Monday but most unusually heard nothing. Then I got an email on Saturday telling me the parts will be sent today hopefully for delivery tomorrow or Wednesday. Maybe he was at the Turin show or on holiday. Not a problem as they are just service parts 'for stock'.

Post by: Parisien on 22 February, 2016, 06:12:47 PM I've bought from several suppliers/sellers, some didn't have what I wanted, some had higher/lower prices depending, so overall on this occasion Cavalitto ticked most boxes so get my business, whilst the named firm above won't get asked again!
