Title: Aftermarket steering wheel boss Post by: andyps on 16 August, 2021, 10:38:56 PM I've got a wood rim steering wheel I've had for many years that I think would suit the Fulvia as a replacement for the original which on mine has a very poor rim. The trouble is I can't find a hub/boss for it which fits the car. The wheel is an old one with six mounting holes with 101mm PCD and newer wheels are 70 or 74mm PCD. I bought a Springalex boss - https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/steering-wheel-boss-for-lancia-fulvia-1971-onwards-from-springalex-sb112 - which fits the wheel and has the correct splines but not a compatible horn connection. Does anyone know of a suitable boss available? I've found an adapter from 101mm to 70/74mm but the cost of that plus the boss for it is more than I would like to spend to fit that particular steering wheel.

I had found them in my search, unfortunately as far as I can see they only make a boss for newer wheels with the 70 or 74mm PCD - the cost of the boss and an adapter to fit my wheel is over £100 so I'll hold out for something that directly fits if possible. I like my wheel but maybe not that much! |
