This looks good!
"Daniel Brühl (The King’s Man) and Riccardo Scamarcio (A Haunting in Venice) star in a true David vs. Goliath story spotlighting the intense rivalry between Germany (Audi) and Italy (Lancia) at the 1983 Rally World Championships. Against all odds, Lancia battles to regain its former glory with an unbeatable combination of bold innovation and extraordinary courage"

Out Jan 5th.

Looks interesting, makes a change from an F1 movie, is that a Cinema release in January?
People still talk of the Audi as being the best this and that but in reality it never really did that well. Others like Peugeot and later on Lancia did the 4WD job much better, the Audi's never had good handling being an understeering car, albeit they were really the first to look into the benefits on all wheel drive.

The Audi was the first all-wheel drive car from a factory team and did well initially because of the all-wheel drive. However, the longitudinal powertrain of the Audi constrained the front-rear balance and therefore the transverse orientation cars out-ran the Audis.

Says a lot about the Audi in that it is still revered after all these years

Looks like can "buy now" on all the platforms I've heard of and a few more.  If we want to watch it on the big screen then that looks like it would have to be a Lancia Motor Club event.

They also have a Lamborghini film.  Anyone seen it?

A couple of reviews of Audi vs Lancia, and some references to other rally films.

I also recommend "Queen of Speed", a documentary about the fabulous Michele Mouton.  She briefly dove a Stratos, either as a privateer or for Fiat (I forget which), but she gained most of her fame driving the Quattro.  Walter Röhrl and others who made sexist comments about her back in the day have now admitted that they were wrong to do so.
