There was quite a thread on this last year, see http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2452.msg17950;topicseen#msg17950 the owner is Richard Nixon whose family has a haulage business in Ireland Brian 8227 8) Title: Re: Essagamma for sale Post by: Kevin MacBride on 05 August, 2010, 01:13:54 PM Richard Dixon is the name of the owner. I met him once a few years ago at a show here in Ireland. The truck seemsto have been for sale for a while. I would have thought that something that rare would have been snapped up. I've emailed and phoned but no reply yet...

Sorry about that, a slip of the typing finger, bought a new keyboard yesterday as a lot of the letters on the keys have worn away, so hopefully I won't make the same mistake again.I met Richaed in Esphino Portugal in 2004 on one of Frank Dehlers (Club Vincenzo Lancia) trips. , Brian 8227 8) Title: Re: Essagamma for sale Post by: HF_Dave on 05 August, 2010, 09:26:38 PM Hi Kevin, Richard came to our monthly meeting on tuesday night, I discussed the truck with him, codition, price, ect,
Title: Re: Essagamma for sale Post by: HF_Dave on 05 August, 2010, 09:34:51 PM Sorry had to go and answer the phone, I spoke to richard on tuesday. The truck was belong to a circus it was used as a ticket office, the back would have to come off but according to Richard you can get a car transporter body in Italy for very reasonable money. The company he mentioned have transporter bodies from as far back as the early eighty's. I think this would make it quite viable.
