Title: What jacks did the rally cars use? Post by: DavidLaver on 03 April, 2018, 11:29:17 AM The only reason I ask is that I was looking at the setup on a friend's road rally spec Golf Gti - and he likes the Bilstein "post and lever" jacks he buys when advertised as "VW" rather than "Porsche" or "Gp 4 Escort". Spot the £200 difference between these two? His target price is £20ish to restore. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Jack-VIGOT-Volkswagen-Split-Bug-vintage-Bilstein-1953-1954-1955-restored/132564282659?hash=item1edd726d23:g:QSMAAOSwmBhaEOAP https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-Jack-356-Type-C-Bilstein-1957-58-59-60-61-62-restored-with-repro-handle/132566242678?hash=item1edd905576:g:utYAAOSw2ytag9gu David Title: Re: What jacks did the rally cars use?
