Post by: Neil on 06 April, 2023, 02:32:48 PM Electric fan is standard on S2 cars only, the rubber mount is situated above the gearbox in the large clamp assembly, behind the engine, below the coil, the last photo looks like a gearbox driveshaft output with seal and connects to the drive shaft on each side of the gearbox.

Yes gearbox output shaft seals. Not what I would call restoration but necessary maintenance of a 50 year old car..... No idea of the strip in the vice.... Title: Re: Restoration photos.
